[Review] Fiberwig Mascara

So like most girls out there we are always searching for the perfect masacara. So I was hearing and reading reviews on this one item called Fiberwig Mascara. I was skeptical since it claims to be like painting fake lashes on your eyes and it also claims to not leave raccoon eyes after long term wear. After being disappointed with all my other mascaras since I have just that problem, all my masacaras leak under my eyes and even sometimes on to my cheek. So I headed out to my nearest Sephora to check it out.
Here's what the packaging looks like:

Its super cute packaging and it grabbed my attention. I love the packaging so much. Even out of the box the metallic red and silver top are just very attractive or sophisticated in my opinion. Haha. I bought the Duo kit because it seemed like a better deal. Anyway..... so yeah :

Does this product actual do what it claims?

- Yes and No. For me it total did do everything I wanted it to do. I was blessed with semi-full lashes as well as semi-long lashes (sounds wierd..). It lengthened my lashes like crazy and it didn't give me a crazy spidery look like some lengthening mascaras do. You can continue applying it until you get the length you want which I super love. But to get to claim it'll look like fake lashes....ehh....maybe not so much. Although it gives you just the right amount of ummff for your lashes to be very long natural lashes. So I mean maybe really natural fake lashes would be best to describe claim of "False Lashes". What it doesn't do is volumize well. Its not the best mascara for volume but for length its spot on.

A big thing I was really looking forward to seeing is if it gave me raccoon eyes. To my surprise it didn't. Not even a little bit. THANK YOU FIBERWIG! A huge petpeev I have with any mascara is that it'll run everywhere and it'll leave residue that takes me ages to remove even with the best makeup removers. This product doesn't leave anything behind and I'm so happy.
Also since its fiber base you can see the individual strands coming off of you eyelashes so don't freak out if you see that. Also, it doesnt come off when you cry or sweat. It only comes off with warm water and/or makeup remover even though it is not waterproof.

Would you buy this product again?

- Yes, I would and I recommend it to anyone out there. Just give it a try its very worth it and its such an amazing product. I use it everyday. I think I am now spoiled with it because everytime I use another mascara I cringe a little if it isn't fiber based. haha. I rate it 9 out 10.

Where can I get it and how expensive is it?

-Well you can go to your local Sephora or if you don't have one near you check out the Sephora Online website. It is kinda pricey if you're used to only drugstore brand mascara (which isn't a bad thing some are actually better). Its $24usd but if you get the DUO kit that I have its only $29usd so I guess the duo kit is worth it but the sniper(the little one) really isn't needed if you can't find the Duo kit.
Also Sephora has a really great return policy so if you don't like it you can always return it.

So yeah thats my review on that. If you guys have tried the product and want to tell me about your experience let on it let me know ;)

YAY! I'M ON BLOGSPOT!

Hello let me introduce myself! I'm Dai! I'm usually on Livejournal by the username elilu. I'm on a bunch of communities so if you see me there give me a shout out!
So I've been blogging for years and I love sharing ideas and just having a laugh with people online.
My family and friends told me it was a good idea to get out there and share my opinion on makeup and products I use since im usually very opinionated about them and I just like to give me perspective on things.
I have always loved makeup and since I've used so many things on the market and i continue to use so many products i thought this would be a good way to vent out since my friends and family are tired of me talking their ears off on whether I live something or not.

ALSO IM A HUGE FAN OF JPOP/KPOP! I just simply love it and i have loved it for years. so if you love it too please let me know!
In the future i wish to either study in japan or korea..who knows....

i think im rambling now...

thank you for visiting my blog! and hopefully we will get to know each other better on here!
